Volunteer
Volunteers play a vital role in helping us serve and support Sun Valley residents.
*Time Commitment
We find that volunteer work has been most rewarding for volunteers and program participants when volunteers make a longer-term commitment. Weekly or bi-weekly opportunities are available in the following areas, with a minimum 3-month commitment.
- Mentor young men of color through our Youth Professional Development Program
- Assist with our No-Cost Grocery Program on Wednesday afternoons
- Support youth cooking classes on Saturday afternoons
- Help prepare meals for the Sun Valley Youth Center on weekday afternoons
- Contribute professional expertise in fundraising, marketing, restaurant operations, or facility maintenance
