Dine
Sun Valley Kitchen is a social enterprise restaurant that provides employment for residents and youth in Sun Valley. The kitchen is scheduled to reopen in Spring 2023.
Volunteer
We take considerable care in creating volunteer opportunities* that take advantage of your talents and truly help our community center better support Sun Valley residents.
*Time Commitment
We find that volunteer work has been most rewarding for volunteers and program participants when volunteers make a longer-term commitment. Weekly or bi-weekly opportunities are available in the following areas, with a minimum 3-month commitment.
- Male volunteers to assist and mentor our young men of color through the Westside Athletics program
- Assist with our No Cost Grocery Program on Wednesday afternoons
- Assist with our youth cooking classes on Saturday afternoons
- Assist with meal prep for the Sun Valley Youth Center on weekday afternoons
